Can we visit the venue before booking?

Yes! We’d love to show you around The Village, The Grove and the wider grounds. Just drop us a message and we’ll arrange a viewing that fits your schedule.

How many guests can the venue accommodate?

Our marquee comfortably holds up to around 140 for dining, with space for more in the evening depending on layout. Outdoor spaces can accommodate larger numbers.

Is there accommodation on-site?

The couple can enjoy a two night stay in our cosy Bat Barn. We also have 6 Cottages on site which can be booked at an additional cost.

Question 4

Can we decorate the marquee and outdoor areas?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! We encourage couples to make the space their own, from flowers and signage to lighting and textiles. We just ask that everything is free from anything that harms the land.

Question 5

Is there power, lighting and water on-site?

Accepted Answer

Yes. There is a generator, fresh water supply and lighting options throughout the site. Additional lighting can be hired through our recommended suppliers.

Question 6

How do payments work?

Accepted Answer

A 20% non-refundable booking fee secures your date. The remaining balance is due six weeks before the event, plus a refundable £200 security deposit.

Question 7

Can we bring our own caterers?

Accepted Answer

Yes, external caterers are welcome as long as they meet our safety requirements. We will also require to show them around the event prior to the event booked. We also have a list of suppliers who know the site well.

Question 8

What happens if it rains?

Accepted Answer

The marquee provides plenty of cover for dining and dancing, and we have plenty of umbrellas to go around! We also work with suppliers who can provide additional shelter at an extra cost.
